Recall that the United Nations' seventeen (17) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) seek to address the world's biggest challenges. At Schlau, we support the SDGs as we strive to help governments and societies to achieve SDGs.
Schlau is committed to human rights preservation as set out in the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Labour Organization Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work. As highlighted earlier, we operate in line with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
As we pursue our target to become a net-zero emissions energy business by 2050, we are also committed to absolute emissions reduction to 50% by 2030, compared to 2016 levels. The aforementioned covers all emissions in Scope 1 (emissions directly from our operations), and in Scope 2, (emissions from the energy we buy to run our operations). We support the aggressive goal of the Paris Agreement, which is to check the rise in global average temperature this century to 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels.

Schlau operates an inclusive set of commitments, policies and standards that define our operating preferences in socially and environmentally responsible manners.
