Renewables

The role of renewables is becoming increasingly important in supporting energy security and much needed transition to net-zero emissions. At Schlau, we strive to meet today's global energy needs while investing in projects designed to provide some of the lower-carbon energy need of the future. We will explore an integrated approach that brings together renewable power generation, trading and sales.

Renewable energy offers substantial carbon emissions reduction benefits in tackling climate change, however, the society is not at a stage when it can switch completely to renewables. Dependency on renewables is affected by limitations posed by wind, sunlight and weather conditions.

Several sources in nature can provide energy, such as the wind, sun, sea and plants. Solar energy is one of the commonest and fastest growing renewable energy sources. Advancements in photovoltaic technology will result in associated production costs decrease.

In the near future, emerging economies would become some of the fastest-growing power markets in the world. Schlau Energy would be looking to support countries where the largest gaps to energy access remain, by investing in sustainable power infrastructure.
